There is a line showing the plane where the view starts associated with the exterior elevation tag. That line is in front of a partition wall that blocks to view of the building elevation. When I try to move it, it does not move. It moves only side to side. How do I move that view line to be on the other side of the partition wall so I can see the building elevation?

in your plan view, click on the elevation tag pointer of the elevation in question.
that opens the elevation dialogue box.
scroll down to extents .
look for far clipping. click the box next to it and another box opens up on screen with 3 options.
select clip with line, then click ok to close box, this will show the elevation depth on floor plan (dashed rectangle with 2 blue drag
triangles for you to adjust depth of your elevation view.)
cheers
