When I create a monolithic stair and I adjust the stringer carriage thickness to >500 I get the result of an angle cut along my entire staircase. How do I change this setting so I can make the Carriage depth as deep as I want . . . It has its practical purposes - just not in the example I attached.

I think nobody ever though that anybody would make monolithic stairs this thick so it was never tested to this extreme. I tested it and it does happen.

You can report this to autodesk.

we had this issue with a stair as well.  we ended up just making it a model in place using a swept profile (it was also on a curve) and used voids to hack off parts on the end.  we couldnt get the monolithic stair to work.

we did not apply railings since it was a residential exterior stair (3'-0 tall).  though in this case i would probably just model them in place too since there was no stringer to attach to.
