in our window schedules we give the window a letter for the type mark and in a column on the schedule we call out a count/ quantity.

when I am setting up the schedule by Type Mark it want to list every individual window with that type mark. where I would like it to list all the windows with type mark 'A' as one row in the schedule. and in the count column of the schedule within that row list the number type 'A' window that there are. I am attaching a PDF of what I am trying to achieve.

Add the 'count' parameter to your schedule.

I do have the count parameter in my schedule. but it lists each individual window in the type mark column. i am attaching an image of what I have described. in column A (mark) I would like it to list the window types and not every window instance and then in column D quantity it should list the count for each window type. so in my attached example I would like there to be only one row of mark 'C' and in that row under quantity it would list 3.

Uncheck itemize every instance in sorting.

In your schedule properties under sorting/grouping, uncheck itemize every instance.
