Hello Revit Guru's

Am trying to import spec notes done in Autocad into revit. when I import the text gets distorted. how can I get the formating stay the same as in CAD? Any Ideas?

You will not get the formatting to stay the same.....Revit does not honor text formatting.

If it is a bunch of text that you don't want to re-write in Revit you could make a .jpeg of it and insert it in.

Thanks Teafoe5. Only negative with that is that when you run a pdf, the files become too large. I am hoping Autodesk will continue to work on the text formating and bulleting. Autocad is good with some of the 2D concepts. I love revit thogh. it has revolutionalised BIM!

Depending on how much you have to do, you might paste all of your text in a notepad file to strip out the formatting, then copy - paste into a revit text and re-format.
