Hi all,

I am new to revit and i am looking to learn as much as i can. Apart from Lynda.com, can anyone provide me with consistent tutorials on the web. I would say my knolwedge of revit is intermediate and i am looking to learn how to create families in revit.

Also, does anyone know where i can find a free library for modern revit wall types? Thanks so much

Start by downloading the families guide here:

http://revit.downloads.autodesk.com/download/RAC2009/Families_Guide/ENU/Family_Guide/PDF/ArchitectureFamiliesImpENU.pdf

Don't worry that it says 2009.  Almost 100% of this is still applicable.

BTW - Walls are system families as are floors and roofs.  As such, they only reside in a project and can not be saved independently in a library.  But you can create a wall types project to store these in.  Then to put them in your prject, you simply open the wall types project, copy to clipboard awall and paste it in your project.
