When you say staggered, do you mean like a block pattern?  If so, then now is a good time to learn.  Find a copy of the concrete 8x16 block pattern and edit it to your 21 x 96 pattern.   Really very easy and once you do it, you can make as many staggered patterns as you need.  Just edit the .pat using a simple text editor and rename it when saving, then load that pattern file.

Here is a simple running bond pattern - create a new one using notepad;

*10.5x15 Stretch running bond;%TYPE=MODEL0,       0,0,      0,10.590,      0,0,      10.5,7.5,           10.5,-10.5

Change the 10.5 to 21 and the 7.5 to 48 (1/2 of the length)

This is a model pattern.

Save with a .pat extension.

oops ... when I pasted this in, the returns did not show.

*10.5x15 Stretch running bond

;%TYPE=MODEL

0,       0,0,      0,10.5

90,      0,0,      10.5,7.5,           10.5,-10.5
