I am using a linked site file in my Revit file, and hope to have it show in my 'Ground Floor' plan in order for said plan to double as a site plan.

My problem is that the linked site plan appears as a series of solid black footprints of the various buildings around the site.

I would like to make this link appear as a softer Grey colour, rather than black, so that I may compose some notes over the various neighboring buildings.

I understand that I won't be able to see the roofs of the buildings, I just hope to have them generated as grey so that I may annotate them.

Thanks Smile Google-fuu has failed me, so I don't think this has been covered before...

*UPDATE*

I have learnt of the 'Custom' setting for my link, and am trying to locate the appropriate setting to change the things I am talking about here - I suppose it might be 'cut region' or something - so my new query is what Visibility type you think governs the colour of my linked site file?
