Hey guys, excited to start. It would be great if some people could answer painful little questions for the beginner.

I dont want this grade line to show in my perspective, But i cant hide the element in view because I need the grade to cut the wall on the angle of the real grade. I also would like to show the line of the wall making contact with the grade

Any suggestions?

Add a building pad to your topo using the exterior wall line.  That will give you what you want.

hey thanks that helps alot, Is there anyway to remove the topo grade lines though? I dont need to see every 2' of grade lines. Maybe there is a tolerance I can set or something?

To use your help,

  1. Use simple, one word searches
  2. Try similar words when you can't find what you need.   (In this case topography didn't get what you needed so then I used contour)
  3. Make sure you look at all of the sub-topics in a search category.

The more you search and read or at least scan the topics in your searches, the quicker you will learn.  Even failed searches will teach you something.
