OK Im so sorry if this is posted before. Ive spent about 20 minutes with the help files and here and found nothing regarding adding a subcatagory under the View mennu.

all I want to know is how do I add a subcategory like the ones seen in the image.

ie. under views, I might add a subset called "presentation"

where is this command?. all the help revolves around sorting and filtering, but not adding one...

The thread I pointed to was for sheets.  Views are the same.  Add a paramter in your project (template too) to views.  We called ours view sort.  Add that to your browser sort.  All of this is explained in that thread.

This is what the aswer is from the other post "Create a new Project Parameter under settings>project parameters (just a project parameter, not shared) and assign it to the Drawing Sheets catagory. Then create a new Browser Organization Scheme and group by this parameter." makes no sense to me.

where do you get to put in new names for the project browser, like my originally posted picture?

Is sorting all there is?. I want to add subcatagories...the "project orginaization browser or scheme" doesnt let me do that. Im completely lost. is there like a youtube video or something. Im stupid and need someone to show me better I think.

The original picture shows a brwoser with a "Floors plans (architectural plans)" as the catagory.  how did this get made? did this person type it in somewhere?

Just answer me one question and Ill stop. If I wanted to add a catagory under the views called "UNICORN PLAN PLAYHOUSE". can I do that? or not?

If you would have followed the instructions, you would have seen it.  You add the project parameter to sheets (in your case, you want views).  So it is now a view parameter and where do those show up?  Under views.  First image below is a partial one of our view properties that shows two different project parameters.  View sort and X-Do not schedule.  << I think those names are pretty obvious.  We add the latter parameter to all elements in a project because .... there are some elements we don't want to schedule!

So to set the parameter - fill it in under properties.  And guess what.  This parameter is now available in view templates.  So perhaps you want all exterior elevations to be sorted in a folder call "Exterior Elevations"  - just add this to your exterior elevations view template.

Do you understand how then to set up your browser to sort by this field?  Like the second image.
