I'm trying to import and IFC file into Revit from a 3rd party program. Everything comes through great, except a few walls. After doing some digging it seems that any wall labeled as an "IFCWallStandardCase" does not come through. The "IFCWallStandardCase" is listed in the options for IFC import, and they are set to import as walls. However, the Revit help site does not have "IFCWallStandardCase" listed as supported:
http://help.autodesk.com/cloudhelp/2014/ENU/Revit/files/GUID-EE6C0CF8-7671-4DCC-B0C7-EEA7513C90A9.htm
Anyone have any ideas as to how to get around this? Why would revit list "IFCWallStandardCase" as an import option, but not have it listed on their help site? I unfortunately have no control over how the IFC file is created. The idea now is to take the IFC file into yet ANOTHER program, and import that into Revit, however this has to be done with hundereds of files and just doesn't seem practical.
Welcome to any input, thanks.
