i recently won a program in an highschool architectural design competition (chief architect 10)...it said i could create a drawing, then import / export it to/ fromautocad as a dwg. file. could i do the same directly to Revit Building 8.1 or have to go the long way?

you won't be able to export to Revit (.rvt) if you have drawings in CA you will be able to export a dwg and bring it into revit.
not sure if CA can export a 3D dwg... if it does you will be able to bring it in but you won't be able to do much with it, sorry.

Thanks for the reply. I after learning the program. CA isn't as good as a program as I thought it would be. I am thankful for the reward. But I think Revit is the best.
