So I am fairly new at using Revit, I downloaded the student trial version of Revit 2015. I am having a problem that when I am on the level two floor plan I cannot see the level one floor plan for reference. I have been sreaching like crazy (and have become quite frustrated over the whole thing) and the only solution I have found is that to see the level one floor plan while on level two is to have the underlay option set at 'level 1.' However, I have underlay set to 'level 1,' it was actually set to that by default yet I still cannot see level 1. If anyone can help me with my problem you would be extremely helpful to me!
Thanks,
Logan

Can you post an image of your view properties? The solution you described should show level 1 grayed out underneath level 2.
And do you have geometry in level 1? Only model elements (walls, doors, model text, etc.) will show in the underlay plans. Annotations (text, dimensions, etc.) will not show.
