I'm interested in self-teaching for one of these programs, but i don't really have the time to explore both.

I'm just looking for some feeback from other user experiences with either of these programs.

Thanks,

Jeff

I think they just release Lumion 4.5, Lumion gets my vote. There are serveral new products along these line coming on to the market now.  Lumion to me is clearly the leader as is being used in conjunction with Revit the most.

Don't you think that Revizto and Lumion are a "bit" different puropse programs in real comparison?  Smile

 Jeff,

Revizto is more universal program than Lumion.

Lumion is more for presentations,

Revizto is more for collaboration, that also included some presentation tools. As well Revizto is a quick learning tool, cloud, web presentation, etc... and very simple in use and fast conversion of Revit model to the walk through....

During this year Revizto will get even more new tools and features that are coming due to requests of different architect bureaus and single users. There is also on the way the feature to work with Navisworks.

If you want an 'all in one' service, Lumion is your best bet. Revizto has a great viewer, but the editing and rendering is done through Unity. You'd basically be learning 2 programs.

Using Revit2014, dragging the rest of the company with me from AutoCAD2008. When will the whining stop?

In Revizto the Unity engine is only for multiplatform player (Win, MacOs, iOS, Android, WEB). No editing in Unity. Nothing to do with Unity Editor. Revizto itself is a plugin for Revit for automatic convertation of Revit model, however you may edit the result of convertation if you need it .Smile

Soon Revito will also automatically read all 2D blueprints/plans/data from Revit Smile

I think it comes down to what you're going to use the programs for.  Lumion is an "in and out" meaning you jump in, get what you want and get out.  Collaboration-wise Revitzo is a bit more successful.  I'm sure there's going to be 100 more programs like these on the horizon as more and more architects drop out of the profession but still want to cling to design...
