I've created a toposurface from the surveyor's AutoCAD dwg, all looks good and well with that. I've created a level at 0.0 and named it "Sea Level". The toposurface is below this level, and I can drag it up to roughly meet 0.0 in elevation view, but cannot find a way to move it up the z-axis incrementally (and thus, more accurately for sharing purposes)If I don't move it up, however, the building pad sits at 0.0, which, obviously, doesn't look right.I feel there is a very simple setting I am missing here, but I'm going mad trying to find it. thanks in advance.

Revit gives you the means to control all of the correctly and the information is all in your HELP.  Read up on Project Base Point vs Survey.  You can also set your levels to either of these settings and swap back and forth.  So you can have first floor set to project at 0'-0" and yet the grade outside might be 986.3' .... Two different base origins that can be controlled independently or together.   Relocate the project is the best means of control but you can do it manually as you have done.

Thank you - the video tutorial was very useful. I've managed to fix it (toposurface is actually a good 100m above sea level in WCS).
