Is it possible to create a shared parameter that allows to tag the external layer of a wall?

Thanks

You can use a material tag.  That demands that you keep you material descriptions up to date to what you want.

We edit the material description so that it is all caps.  Also for items like stud wall cavities, we may have multiples like 3 1/2" metal stud @ 16" oc with 3 1/2" batt insulation then anothe one that doesn't have the batt... etc.  We have seperate materials for 4", 6", 8", 10", 12" CMU .... understand?

^^ By doing this, we can material tag our wall type legends and know that everything is correct in the project.

Is it possible to use that information given to the walls/materials with Room Tags?

Sorry - walls don't associate with rooms.  Afterall ... they can face more then one direction and span multiple rooms.
