Is it possible to cut a sloped beam in Revit 8.1. I have tried to add a void into the beam family to the end of the beam? But that is not working, because my beam has a slight slope.
Do you have any ideas
See also the attached detail (in elevation). The cyan column is vertically oriented. The beam (green) has a slight slope and the plate (yellow) has to be vertically attached to the column.

Any solutions? I have a regularly sloped beam system that ends in a series of walls that are curved in plan so that the beams are not perpendicular to the wall in plan or elevation. I would love to just void the ends of the beams off at the wall...

I don't know if this solve your problem because we don't have any image to check, but... go to an elevation or section view, create a Ref. plane in the place where you want to cut, now use the "Cut geometry" tool, select the ref. plane and your beam.
