I have a project with beams that are on a radial plan, and also slope. the beams themselves have a tapered end. and I can't figure out how to make myself a part, can someone please tell me what to make so that I can make something thats rotateable in plan and slantable in section. doesnt need to be "structural"

How many of these?

If one - then in-place extrusion using a vertical work plane you draw.

Otherwise - create a family.  Simple extrusion.

SoI have many that fan out in plan. so if I make a family, one being extruded.... I have to draw the extrusion with the slope already built in...because you cant rotate it in section... but I found in this short interim, that a sweep can be. you just have to draw one profile of one beam. and the path is 3.5" long. then you can rotate it in any way you want. its the extrusion tool that limited what I wanted. but you're right Hub, I dont need the slope to change, so I could have gone with what you suggested to.

Thanks
