When I create a foundation plan I do not want to see the interior walls in the house, just the exterior with the respective footing. What I am doing now is use the line work (invisible line to "delete" the interior walls). I tried to go to visibility and uncheck the wall visibility, but that way I can not see any wall (exterior and interior) at all. Is there any way to separate interior and exterior walls, so I can go to visibility and just uncheck the interior wall? Thanks for your help...

In our office, the foundation plans are all detail lines. All the walls are turned off after you have traced the walls. Hope this helps.

I used the worksets option for this problem.  I created an interior wall workset and a foundation wall workset, that way I can shut off the interior walls on the foundation plan.  Don't know if this is the correct way but it has worked for me so far.

Worksets are definitely the way to go with this issue and many others when it comes to organizing a project and visibility issues like this.  Worksets are very tricky if you are new to them, and enabling them brings a whole new level of coordination, but I personally feel they are a necessity with working in Revit.

Worksets are one way to control visibility - although the filters that came out with 9.0 were designed for controlling visibility.  I tend to lean more towards using filters rather than worksets, especially for the situation described in the original post, where it seems as though worksets are not needed for workflow issues.
