Hi all,

When creating a new viewport (not a duplicate) Revit is referencing it to another sheet/viewport that is not relevant at all!

The logic with Revit about back referencing is it will reference the oldest parent view. Thats fine. but when im creating a new floor plan view with no parents at all, why revit is still referencing another sheet???

 Thanks all.

We don't know how you created your view.  Did you use the view tab / ceiling plan?

Well my friend, you fail to tell us what Revit and what updates you have installed.  Look there first.

What do you think?  They create updates to correct program malfunction.

I believe 2013 has 3 updates and they all have to be installed ...in order.

"Do you suggest to update the vesion?"

You ALWAYS want to installe the updates, they fix problems that were found after the release date.  I believe there were 3 updates for 2013, you will need to install them all in order.. 1, 2 then 3

WWHub got it first, guess I type to slow!
