I just joined. I have Revit Building 8 in my highshool classroom and need help periodically. Most recently I tried getting a Family of Doors from Autodesk but when I tried to Load from Library, select Family and select the object I saved (Double Raised Panel with Sidelights) it tells me "the file was saved in a later version of Autodesk Revit and cannoyt be retrieved in this version". I saved it from the Revit Building 8 Archived libraries from the Autodesk website accessed when you select Web Library. Can anyone help?

I thank Autodesk is getting rid of all th old libraries.
As a teacher and class, you can have the latest Revit. Why are you not doing this? If it is a computer problem, at least come up to 2012 Revit. That will still work on your system.
