All,

I am trying to model edge reinforcement for a composite slab. We need to model a shape code 21 bar at 600 c/c. The intention is to use the path reinforcement tool. On plan, the u-bars are laid flat, as if they are resting on the slab, however path reinforcement only allows you to project reinforcement if the u-bar is up on its side.

Does anyone know how to model u-bars laid flat at 600c/c?

Is there a setting that I am missing somewhere?

Many Thanks.

James Gregory

Have you tried using the Autodesk Revit extensions for RC? You need to download it I think, but it's pretty handy.

Revitwiz. Thanks for this. I have tried to locate this download but can't seem to figure out where to get this from? Any chance you can lead me in the right direction?

You can find and download the extension from subscription center: http://subscription.autodesk.com

However, starting this year Autodesk also put some extension on Autodesk Exchange app storehttp://apps.exchange.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Home

You may want to check both sites.
