Hi guys!!

     I am trying to cut a void into a divide surface i have applied an adaptive component to.  I am using a 12 point adaptive component that this connected between two surfaces.  Any idae how i can cut a void into the divided surface to make it appear as if the slats have stopped.  Thanks for the help.
