Hello,
First post here...very new to revit.
I unsucessfully searched for answers to the following question:
How do I best model a vertical wood rainscreen, with 1" square slats, and 3/8" spacing between? Seems basic enough, but I am stumbling on several issues.
I am thinking this might be best done with a curtain wall family, yes? My hope was simply attach to top of my wall, following the rake of the roof. But, I am not sure how to do so, without glass being involved.
I see there is a family created by another rc user but I couldn't get it to function as I need, and it needs more detail I wish to add.
Any help is appreciated. I am running revit 2013.
Thank you.

I would probably use a curtain wall. Your wood slats will be your mullion profile and your glazing will be your spacing however you will set your curtain panel to none so that you don't actually have glazing

Awesome. So simple. Though, I needed to change the Curtain Panel drop-down choice to Empty System Panel:Empty fo the glass to completely dissapear. The None option still left panels in place. Anyway...
Thank you. Very helpful.
