I have searched both here and Autodesk forums.
I have a simple task that I did once. I want to create a simple shape that follows a path along my building and the shape would follow the path.
For instance, I want to create a 2x12 dryvit fascia about 12' above the f.f. On that fascia I want to have a 1x2 piece at the top and bottom of the fascia, creating a 'C' form. Last time I did this (over a year ago) I created the shape and I had pink lines that I connected to form the path that the object would be extruded along.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

That's called a sweep.... Read about it in your HELP.

You can do a model in place, in a wall category for instance, and sweep along the path you pick in 3d.
