This is doing my head in and it shouldn't not for how long i have used Revit. I pinned my walls in 2014. Now i cannot select them by filter, highlight or unpin. They simply cannot be selected any longer. I just pinned my dimensions and the same thing. They cannot be unpinned unless I undo.
I have googled this to no avail. Any help or direction would be appreciated.
Thanks

2014 has two updates - install those and see what happens then come back.

Thank you wwHub. I installed the updates but to no avail was I able to select my pinned walls or unpin them after..then I looked down at the far right of my screeen and saw an orange thumbtack..
Select Pinned Elements
Enable the Select Pinned Elements option when you want to be able to select elements that are pinned in place and cannot be moved.
If the ability to select pinned elements interferes with your ability to select other elements in the view, disable this option. For example, you may want to omit pinned elements from a crossing selection.

Good for you.....nice to point those out
I too forget to look down to the right at these new controls.
The updates won't hurt...... they are really required.
