Is there a way to change the default scale value for view instance parameter "Hide at scales coarser than"?

Our template has 1:50 as default value for sections wich is very annoying and has to be changed manually every time scale is eg. 1:00 (very common). Elevations has default value 1:5000 and I find that much better.

You should be able to create a section in the template and reset the scale - delete the section and save.

Thanks for your answer. How do I "reset" the scale? I created a section in the template file, changed the "Hide at scales..."

to a value I want it to be but Revit does not remember last value when creating next section. "Hide scales at..." is still 1:50..

I'm sorry but it has been a few years since I messed with these so I forgot.

It appears that Revit will set the "Hide at scales coarser than" to the scale of the view when you create the section.  If your view scale is 1:100 when cut, it will be set to 1:100.  If it is 1:50, it will be 1:50.  If you want to change the scale of the view after placement, you can select all the sections at one time and reset this value.
