Hello!  Quick question from a humble revit queen:

I have a filled region that will not cover the stairs I have in the model only when it's or any region is transparent.  When I switch it to opaque, everything gets covered.  And it prints that way too (see attached).  Am I doing something wrong here or is this one of those revit gremlins (or graphics card)??  Of all the things I've run into over the years... revit does keep it interesting.

Thanks for your help.  :o)

Kristina

What did you think you showed us?  I see a transparent hatch and stairs.  What was I supposed to see?

I want the hatch to cover the entire area including the stairs, but for some reason it's covering some parts and not others. I need it to be transparent so I can see the door swings, stairs, etc. but still have the hatch which designates a rated enclosure.  :o)

Revit has some built in "priorities" when it comes to how graphics are visually represented. For example, text or dimensions will always be on top of a region. If I'm understanding what you are saying is you want the hatch pattern to be on top of the travel path or stairs? If that is the case, I would try overriding the transparency of the stairs. I think what you are seeing is the stairs are masking the region.
