Guys,
There is an issue with putting face-hosted light fixture on the ceiling in Reflected Ceiling Plan in linked architectural model.
I would like to place that fixture on the ceiling, but I cannot do that. The fixture can be hosted to vertical elements i.e. walls, doors and even other fixture. In 3D view I can place the fixture in the ceiling. I opened architectural model and tried to put the fixture on the ceiling in that file and it worked. I assume the ceiling (in linked file) is not "recognized" as ceiling. The fixture family was downloaded from the manfuacturer's (Zumtobel) website.
I am using Revit MEP 2013.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Kamil

You must own the host for hosted items. Place a default ceiling in your model and use that.
