hey guys, i'm not even sure if this were the right place to ask this, but i sincerely long for ur helps.
i'm a college student majoring in architecture and i'm supposed to use revit from this semester.
as soon as i turned it on, i realized that the default elevation views(east, west, south, north) are not there
just as they'd used to in the previous versions..!
where and/or how can i bring back the good old settings??

You can manually add as many elevations as you like, usually there will be 4 standard views in the template.
Adding a new elevation: View > Elevation.
You'll see the arrow points automaticly to a nearby wall.
I suggest you adjust whatever template you're currently using and save it as a new template to use in future projects.
