I am trying to create detail tags that reference pages in a seperate tenant handbook we create outside of Revit. Basically I need cutom tags that I can manually enter letters and numbers into. I attached a file to this to show you. One tag is for the storefront with just an editable number the other is for the demise pier detail again similar qualities. We use to copy and edit them in CAD accordingly so I would like something where I can hand type in the properties...any ideas?

Just create a new generic Annotation,

Put "Labels" in for each field, you will need to tie them to a parameter, you can recycle a parameter you'll never use like "assembly code" and "assembly Description", or create new ones with a shared parameter file (The Correct Way).

Draw the necessary linework and insert them as symbols (under annotate)

We use a IDF (Invisible detail family) to host tags and properties like you want.   The IDF has an invisible line in it so you can see it when you roll over it.  We create a new type for each detail that needs a different parameter.
