I need to create a custom tags for my furnishings.
IT should be a rectangle box with 3 categories:
1.Category 2. Item Number 3. Total # in Project
So all bed for instance will have the same tag, all desks same tag.
How do I create this tag? and not have to create 26 differnt tags? Is there a way to input it in the properties so it links with the tag?
I have created the schedule for furniture already as well.
Thanks for your assistance

You can't have ties in a tag.
Category is not a built in parameter. You could create that but you would have to fill it in.
Look at what's available to you in my image in this thread: http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=32325

Thank you.
1.Category 2. Item Number 3. Total # in Project /Type Comments" - is the custom tag I created - see attached -
OK for #3 I placed the parmater of 3. "Type Comments" - because that shows up in the editable properties of the furniture and the tag properties when selecting a label type.
- so in the schedule can I add or edit the info so it says: Total # in Project/Type Comments"
#2. I have not been able to get the shedule the text columns to read vertically, (even though I checked vertical) instead of horizontal.
#3. ALSo how can I get the schedule to recognize the Room Name I have set as a category in a schedule?
Thanks a million!
Veronica

Your post is confusing.
Read your HELP on schedules to see what you can do.
Schedule values are always in horizontal lines per element.

The HELP button is the question mark on the upper right of your revit screen. Click on that and search schedule.
