Hello I created a wall tag and didn't know that there were wall tags in architectual annotations.  So the tag I created is in the generic family.  I cannot purge this tage

Nor can I load a wall tag > tag by category > load tags> 

I get the error that wall tag has already been loaded and I cannot load the standard revit wall tag.

Hence I have been unable to place wall tags easily.  The generic wall tag I created is not laoding the diamond and when I fo to edit family it says it is a floor tag....

So confusing!  I haven't been able to purge these bad tags  Please help

Don't purge it, just find the family you want gone in your project browser and delete it

I see two wall tag families loaded already - not just one so I don't understand what you are doing.  Delete both wall tags and all instances from your project pbrowser and load the wall tag.
