I am creating a spiral stair and need to have the starting riser parallel to the end floor and the ending riser parallel to the top floor, the floors are stacked on top of each other (10'-0" fl to fl) it seems that there is no way for revit to automatically adjust the tread depth to make the start end end points parallel to the floors.  Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

yeah I looked through the other posts didnt see a solution.  basically revit needs to be able to adjust the tread depth the way it adjusts the riser height in order to get the spiral stairs to stop and start at a specific location...add to wish list i guess

Mine are parallel.  If that's not what you mean then be more descriptive.

Right and you can sketch it so long as you are not rotating 360 degrees but you cannot create a spiral that rotates 360 and ends with the starting riser parrallel to the final riser without being able to adjust the tread depth

Finally you tell us something, you want a full 360 degree stair.  That would have been beneficial from the beginning.  That begin 90 degrees and end 90 degrees has no bearing at all.

Just do your stair in two sections.

I'm not seeing the problem?  Here is a 360 that starts at 90 and ends at do to eachother (rotated on screen a bit due to doing it fast).  This is done with stair by component.  Or as WWHub said do it in 2 sections.

I just did it with stair by component, 10' floor to floor height... I'm still not seeing why you are having a problem.  It can be done as I did it or as WWHub said in 2 pieces, you just need to watch your radius size.

Prior to 2013, Revit never liked stairs that came back on themselves.  That is why once you stated the stair was 360, my answer still applies.

Just do your stair in two sections.

I don't do enough component stairs and I don't have time to check that out but if Tefoe says that also works then I'm sure it does.

Just do your stair in two sections.

I see what you are saying tafoe.  If i needed a specific radius then its not possible without adjusting the tread depth
