I am using paints to represent and calculate formwork needed for slabs, walls, columns, block-outs, and so on; and I have multiple 3D views with filters for varying purposes, but my goal is to have the paint represented on only one of the 3D views to minimize confusion due to colors used multiple times, or as a result of having too many colors/patterns on one view. What is the best way to go about doing this?
Thank you for any help you can provide.

Sorry but you should not be using paint for this. Paint is a material and is 3D... all views. Find another method.
