I am working on a project on an existing house. I have created my phases and have been working on the existing and proposed. I am just having some problems with objects connecting that were created/destroyed in diffrent phases. For example. When I have a wall that is destroyed in my proposed phase connected end to end to a existing wall that is not being destroyed, the walls overlap at the ends and will not join properly. I know that they really cant "join" because the destroyed wall isnt really there, but when I create the wall, drawn to the start of the destroyed wall, the new wall will automaticly extend another few inches causing it to overlap with the demolished wall, and screw with the my set dimentions for the wall. Also, I have a wall in the existing drawings that I want to have cut down a few feet in my proposed. To do this do I have to slit this wall into two peices and set the top to destroyed in proposed, or is there another way?

Turn off wall joins on the end of the wall.
