I have a mass made up of triangular faces making up an exterior skin. Each face has a division of nodes related to the overall triangular geometry. On the interior I'm trying to align ceiling planes along these divisions. The problem is that I need the form of the mass to have thickness relative to each face that join cleanly. Not possible with extruding the faces of the mass nor do picking walls produce a good result. Is there a way to offset the faces of the mass similar to creating a shell so that I can have clean intersections? Thanks.

A better solution via the indefatigable Zach Kron:
