For the life of me I can't figure out how you show a gridline on just one or two levels and not all the levels at the same time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

type VV to go to your visibility/graphics annotation categories and untick the Grid.

i also am having problems with gridlines. first, is there a way to make the gridline and the level line so that it shows on both sides of the drawing and is labeled, but it does NOT pass through the floorplan, section, or elevation? second, my site is sloped, and the ground level is different on the north side than the south side...i think i can handle the elements and adjusting them (floor, stairs, etc) but the level line...thats the tricky one, how do i slope the level line in the elevation and section views? or what is the best way of going about achieving this outcome?

Try adjusting the 3D settings of the grid line in eleveation or section. If you have a particular grid that may only show on a certain level lower or raise the 3D point below that level. Specific grid lines can also be controled in that manner.
