Staight to the point, I'm creating a template and when I cut a section my Elevation tags are not showing.  I can make new tags but I want my original elevaiton tags.  Its not hidden or turned off in VG settings, whats wrong?

This doesn't make sense. you cant show elevations in a section  See the image of how the Elevation Command is grayed out in a section

Think JstoutDesigner meant the Level indicators.  I forgot what i had to do to get mine back, it hink it had to do with the range of the elevation box in plan view.

If the poster meant the level indicators, ...read the HELP:

Datum Extents and Visibility

Datum planes, such as those for levels, grids, and reference planes are not visible in all views. If the datum does not intersect a view’s plane (or does not intersect the plane in the correct way), then it will not be visible in that view.

Datum planes are modifiable. You can resize their extents so that they are visible in some views, but not others. You can also change datum extents in one view and then propagate that change to any desired parallel views in which the datum is visible.

You can also use scope boxes to control visibility of datum.
