Hi. I have created a family for a wireless antenna. My family contains the 3d model element at ceiling level and it has a symbol made of symbolic lines at floor level, so that in plans, the symbol shows up. Then I tag the symbols with a tag I made. I wouldlike to add a filled region to the symbol lines, but Revit won't allow it. So I created an annotation family of a filled region and loaded that into my family. The problem is that the annotation scales itself up and down and the symbolic lines don't so it doesn't work.

try to make filled region with another detail family(not annotation family) and attach it to your family. it will work.
hope it helps.
