Morning everyone, i'm in the process of making sleeve drawings(wall penetrations) for mechanical pipe. I have a rather complicated mechanical system. therefore to minimilize confusion for the field guys i isloated the heating hot water, and the chilled water from one another and created views from each, so i could apply them to two differebt sheets. But i have ran into a quite frustrating situation. Since i can specifically select the insulation i cannot do a hide/isolate to segragate the hhw from the ch and see the insulation. a way i thought i had figured it out was: i just removed the insulation and added it after i applied the hide/isolate, but if i do that it appears in the other view and i've entered a circle of frustration, not fun. if anyone out there has any advice, i'd greatly appriciate it, thank you for your time.

Okay, i got it. I had to select all pipe in HHW, edit insulation and save the insulation as a selection. deselect everything, highlight all walls firstwith select all in entire project, then highlight everything in the sheet that i wanted, then load the saved insulation selection to get it to appear. for any of you having the same problem out there.
