Hello, I am making an atrium(see attached image). I want to place a curved(half circle) roof with glass panels but i dont know how to place mullions. At the moment what i have done, is that I created a curved roof and i applied thin glass on it. Probably that’s the wrong way to do it. I tried to find some tutorials on youtube but coudnt find anything in english. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSKSYrgrqLE Thats the closest one but in russian) Should I start making it with Metric Generic Model template?
ANY help would be appreciated.
Furthermore, I want to make a 1mX1m rope pattern?! above the 2nd floor windows in order to hang some bamboo sticks at the intersecting points. Hope that does make sense. The ropes are going to be 5mm, quite thin cause the idea is that of floating bamboos. Thank you in advance.

You can't add mullions to a roof, only sloped glazing. You could do this with a sloped glazing and add split lines to the glazing and offset them to the heights required to get the shape you are looking for, since your roof wouldn't actually be made "round" you would just segment it in certain lengths to come close to the shape you need. Your other option would be to create your roof as you have done and use an in-place sweep for your mullions.

I'm having a hard time visualizing what you are trying to do. Do you have an image that you could attach? It sounds like you could do this with a curtain wall and make your mullions your "rope/bamboo" pieces.

Thank you for your quick response. Unfortunately, I cant find an exact image of what i want to do. I want to create a grid 1m x 1m and on the points and the wires meet i want to hang bamboo sticks. The wire grid is going to be fixed to the wall just above the second window. I want to hang the bamboos just like in the picture that i attached. obviously in the grid 1x1 they are going to be further away.
Imagine that this grid of wires/ropes (in the second picture) is on the ceiling.
If I am not clear still, please let me so i can make a sketch(not doing it yet cause i dont have printer/camera with me and its going to be a bit of a hustle)
THANK you so much,

I would create this as a separate family and load it into your project.

Well if you make is ceiling based it has to be hosted by a ceiling, is that what you want? I would assume just make is as a Generic Model
