Hello,
Sometimes when I am working, I double click on something and get stuck in group edit mode with the yellow screen. The Finish and Cancel options are greyed out and everytime I click, it says "Can't delete element that is being edited." Has anyone ever had this happen? I mess around with it for a while and finally get out of it, but I would like an easier way to get out of it.

We ask posters to include the issue of the revit they are using and what updayes they have installed. Do that and we may then be able to help you.

There are 2 updates available with 2014, you need to install those updates.

CTL+Z worked for me.
I hope the updates do too. 2014 seems a little buggy.

Found this somewhere else:
"By default, the Edit Group panel is a 'torn off' panel that should be floating in the upper left corner of the drawing window. It can be "returned to Ribbon" where it will dock itself on the right side where the contextual tools will be. If you can't find it, it may be on another monitor?"

2014 with all updates loaded
it happens to me also, generally when i'm coping text. i palce the copied text and try to change it this happens. haven't heard of the "control z" thing will have to try it. i usually end up closing out of the program, it will ask to save the project.
sure is a real pain in the curse...
