I have downloaded a couple of aluminum frame doors from this site to insert into a curtain wall. I used the load family command to bring them in and I can see them in my Project Browser but when I try to drag and drop nothing happens.
Moreover I have used the DOOR command to insert the newly uploaded door family but it is NOT in the Properties box where all the doors can be selected for the project.
I have also tried to upload the REVIT generic galls curtain wall door that comes with REVIT bu the same holds true. In prieor verisions I never has this problem I am using REVIT 2014

You can't just drag and drop a curtain wall door into a project, it has to be PART of the curtain wall so click on a curtain wall panel and change the type from glass to door in the type selector pulldown
