HI THERE, I'M USING REVIT 2014.

MY PROBLEM IS, I'M CREATING NEW PROJECT FILE WITH STANDARD REVIT PROJECT TEMPLATE. IN THE PROJECT BROWSER UNDER FLOOR PLANS ALREADY INDICATED LEVEL 1. BUT WHEN I CREATE / ADD ANOTHER LEVEL, I DIDN'T SEE THE EXISTING LEVEL 1 ON MY ELEVATION VIEW EXCEPT THE ONE I'M CREATED. COULD ANYONE THERE TELL ME WHAT SUPPOSE I DO TO OVERCOME THIS ISSUE?

MANY THANK IN ADVANCE.

Glad you found you solved your problem.  This is a learning/teaching forum so if you could state your problem more clearly and also your solution for anyone who may come across the same problem that would be great!

In ordeer for grid lines, reference planes and levels to show up in any view their "3D Extents" must 'intersect' the "view" itself. Then there are 'Scope Boxes" which allow isolated or "pocketed" extents.

So you you need to know how to control both the extents of the datum elements as well as the extents of the views. If you include scope boxes then that just provides individual environments.

This applies to all datums and all 2d views.

The good news is, all the information is right here below in 15 free, very detailed video tutorials:

See the series on "Datums, Views, Crop Regions, Scope Boxes and Reference Planes"
