I'm using an elevation pointers to reference devices in my building. The tag references a drafting view that has been created to show the prototypical elevation with all the notes and specs I need associated with it rather than show the actual elevation of that wall/device. All pretty easy stuff so far. My problem is that sometimes things get crowded on my plans and I need the ability to use one elevation tag to point at two devices that are in close proximity to each other. However, whenever I try to "check two boxes" for the elevation pointers my tag displays the sheet number but removes the detail number that is associated with that drafting view on that sheet. Even though both pointers are referencing the same drafting view for some reason Revit doesn't like it. . Anyone have a solution?

I'm lost! I don't understand what you are trying to do.
It appears that you have an altered elevation tag that only uses one view. Please explain your tag because I don't see how that will work with multiple views.
The typical interior elevation tag can point to 4 views (NSEW) because the detail number is in different locations around the tag, yours is not.

Oh, yeah. I pulled the label inside the bubble rather than keep it by the pointer. Any pointer that has its box clicked or chosen updates the detail label in the upper portion of the bubble.
Maybe that's the issue. All my views update the same tag. If I want this to work like this I may need to create a dedicated tag for each view so that when they're linked to the same drafting view they'll overlap and read the same. . . hmmmm
