Revit BDS 2013

I have created a window schedule that sorts the windows in to groups by the room names. In addition,

I have created a Parameter using a calculated value to create the 'Openable free area' for each room (which is 5%of the floor area).

I now need to split the 'Openable Free Area' across the windows within each room. Unfortunately, the number of window in each room is different!

Any help would be appreciated!

What do you mean by 'split' the openable free area in each room ?

What I meant was that if I have calculated the 'Openable free area' for a particular room as 3m2 and there are 3 windows, the openable free area for each window within that room would be 1m2. Unfortunately each room has a different number of windows, so it's not which as simple as dividing the 'Openable Free Area' by a fixed number. Somehow I'd like to be able to create a count of the number of windows in each room, and then divide the 'Openable Free Area' by this count. This would then spread the total 'Openable Free Area' over the number of windows in each room. Hope that makes sense!

Steps to resolve:

1. Create S/O_Area formula (L x W).

2. Add an S/O_Area percentage from room name

3. Create a Purge_Calc forumula "Purge_Ventilation / (1 / SO_Percent)"

The Purge_Calc forumala can be embedded in an if statment if there isa column identifying non openable windows.

This doesnt work into doors but likely can be adjusted to do so.
