How do you create a new fill pattern for a wall or roof, from scratch? If I create a new hatch in Autocad, Can i take it to revit? Thanks.

you can create what ever pattern you want using a: 1. text file, if you know what you are doing, and save as .pat and import to revit 2. a third part program (can't remember the name) and import into revit

if you open a pat file in notepad for example, you'll see that its all stored as co-ordinate data. That's why eldad say "if you know what your doing" as its a little tricky...
