Hi all,

I am working for a firm that is in the process of transitiong to revit. I am partly in charge of trying to complete our template. A request of one of our employees involved leader lines.. In autocad a leader line can snap to a degree (30, 45 degree) so that each leader line can be exactly the same angle. Is there a way to edit the leader lines to add a parameter to them so when you draw them they will snap to a certain angle? I've tried searching, but I can't figure out how to edit the actual leader line - if that is even possible.

Thanks,

Leaders are system families so there is no way to modify them.  You will have to use your eye judgement

Teafoe5, I appreciate the answer.  I've been looking for the same information.  I still need to verify one item.  Is there a way to get at least the one side to straighten easily before leaving the point out at any angle?  I'm looking for some consistancy but the fact that the leader is broken into two lines makes for extremely unconsistant leaders that looks messy and takes lot of time to try and eye-ball.  It seems like there should be some sort of 90 degree snap so that the drawings are not full of slightly angled lines. MOst architects I meet are all about consistency and clean lines and this is not clean.  I included an image to help explain.  The blue highlighted line is slightly lifted and it takes time to try and get it perfectly level (and time is money). Any recommendations?

The "bend" I the leader has an automatic 90 degree snap that you are talking about, it is the pointer/leader head of the arrow that doesn't have any snapping.
