Hi all

Have created a vertical element of roofing which curves down over an external wall. I want to create a continuous element of fascia, however, fascia can only be applied to the piece of roof created using 'Roof by Footprint' and will not automatically snap to the vertical element of roof.

Any ideas?

Using Autodesk Revit 2014

Thanks

Lee

A roof cannot be totally vertical.  Can you attach an image of what you are trying to do?

Thanks for the reply.

My roof is totally vertical created by using Roof by Extrusion tool..

I have overcome this I think by using an in-place family and a sweep to create my profile for the length of the vertical section.

I'll post up a image later.

Thanks

Lee
