If you have different building parts and/or different buildings
and you have saved each part in its own file
you can use SHARED locations, SHARED coordinates
too manage all the files relative to an ORIGO in a host file.
Are you using this? I think it is good but rather complicated
You can not show a visual sign of a named location!!!
I have not seen that option! Have you?
SHARED location you have to use in big projects but it is complicated and if you download this tutorial - http://revit.autodesk.com/EN/6_0/Documents/TutorialsMetricENU-A4paper_size.pdf - you will find the explanation on page 729. It is the last chapter. But it is a really important but AutoDesk think it is too difficult to the users by placing it last in the tutorial. My wish is that you can show visually the namned shared locations?
So my question is: Are YOU using shared locations? Have YOU understand to manage them correctly? Or do you find them to hard to understand? Do you also want a visual sign for those hidden ORIGOS?
